ARC heroine Found could be out again quickly, trainer Aidan O’Brien indicated to the Racing Post on Monday, with Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday week not ruled out for the queen of Chantilly.

Found, who led home a remarkable 1-2-3 in the Arc for her trainer on Sunday, ran in the Arc, the Champion Stakes at Ascot and the Breeders’ Cup Turf last year, and could be assigned the same three races this autumn – though she also holds the fillies’ and mares’ stakes entry at Ascot.

O’Brien, for whom Highland Reel was second and Order Of St George third at Chantilly, said: “Our three Arc runners came home on Sunday night and all of them seemed fine this morning.

“We’ll wait until later in the week when we see how they are before making plans, but Found ran in the Arc last year before going on to finish second in the Champion Stakes at Ascot and then winning the Breeders’ Cup Turf, and it’s possible that we might do something similar with her.”

Should Found be aimed towards the Champion Stakes she would be in line for a rematch with Almanzor, who edged her out in the Irish Champion Stakes but whose connections opted not to run in the Arc.

“Nothing is being ruled in or out for Found,” added O’Brien. “We have always thought the world of her and she again proved herself a very good filly on Sunday.”
